Overview
Introduction:
I.C.T A40 Flying Probe Tester is a flying probe inspection system that uses a high-speed independent flying probe combination to analyze product manufacturing defects on assembled circuit boards.
The system combines experience in the field of drive and high-precision flying probe positioning and inspection technology. The equipment not only achieves high-precision and high-speed detection, but also has better detection coverage.
1. According to the product testing needs, various circuit function tests for power-on detection of the PCBA under test can be added;
2. Backside testing can be customized, and can conduct pin-specific conduction and insulation tests on the connector;
3. In-depth research and development of software to meet the special needs of customers can provide big data processing, docking with MES, dynamic database, and API interface sharing;
4. The software is simple and intuitive, supports importing CAD design files, automatically generates test files and data, and is easy to program;
5. Compared with traditional needle bed testing, flying probe testing has more flexibility and high coverage of test content;
6. No fixture required, can be tested directly or compatible with fixture testing;
7. New soft-landing needle-down technology can minimize the traces produced when contacting the PCBA without affecting the speed;
8. Adjustable pressure probe, maximally compatible with different components and PCBA.
Test Principal of PCBA Flying Probe Tester:
In-Circuit Test - ICT: Without power on the UUT, the components and connections on the board are measured one by one by electric signal going through the flying probes. Compare the test results with the standard sample template. The sample template is either from the import CAD design file or from the auto-learn of a “golden board”.
Test Signal: According to the application of the UUT and the different characteristic of the device, you can choose to apply either DC signal or AC signal of different frequency.
Static Voltage Test - Vnod: With power on the UUT, the voltage on each point of the circuit can be measured in turn. This test mode is especially suitable for used board repair.
