In January 2025,I.C.T successfully delivered a fully SMT production line and a DIP production line for a ODM comapny in Saudi Arabia, two experienced technical engineers from I.C.T went abroad to provide comprehensive installation and training support for the customer in the Middle East.
The customeris an ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) and contract manufacturer, specialises in a wide range of products, including smart machines, wearables, logistics technology products, smart home devices, and industrial automation systems. This is the first venture into setting up an SMT and DIP production line for in-house manufacturing, building an entirely new SMT factory from the ground up.
Given the wide variety of products produced by customers, I.C.T customized an end-to-end solution that can meet both mass production needs and diversified product requirements. The solution includes SMT and DIP production lines.
Mainly SMT equipments:
Solder Paste Mixer, PCB Loader, Automatic Solder Paste Printer (I.C.T-5134), JUKI RS-1R SMT Placement Machine, L8 Reflow Oven Machine, Online AOI Inspection machine,Standard and Cooling Conveyors, NG/OK PCB Unloaderetc.
Mainly DIP equipments:
3m Insertion Line, Wave Soldering Machine W2, Wave Loader & Unloader, Belt Assembly Line etc.
The new factory is also equipped with a cleanroom system including a pass-through box and air shower to maintain cleanliness standards during production, as well as a variety of testing and inspection equipment to meet customers`s quality control needs.
After arriving at the customer's factory, I.C.T engineers immediately began installation and training to ensure that the production line can be put into production as soon as possible.
The engineers checked the workshop layout and confirmed the location of the equipment (including the air shower system).
All SMT equipment should be fixed and unpacked, placed and adjusted according to the layout, connected to the power supply, and the machines were connected via SMEMA for seamless connection.
After the equipment was installed, power-on testing and trial operation were carried out. According to the customer's requirements, the programming training of the JUKI RS-1R placement machine was strengthened to ensure that the customer's engineers could program it independently.
The engineers trained the customer team to solve common problems and perform regular maintenance to ensure the service life of the production line.
After the training, the customer's engineers were asked to operate the equipment themselves under the guidance of our engineers and were assessed. The customer's engineers had rich experience in inspection and strong hands-on ability to ensure the smooth operation of the production line.
