European Customer Visited ICT for Acceptance of the Customized DIP Production Line

In early December, I.C.T welcomed a Hungarian customer to our factory for the acceptance of their customized automatic DIP / THT production line.  This visit marked a milestone in our commitment to delivering tailored solutions and customer satisfaction.



Advanced THT Technology


The customized DIP production line included three key pieces of equipment:

  • Odd Form Insertion Machine: Designed to handle non-standard components with precision and efficiency.

  • Wave Soldering Machine: Ensuring reliable soldering quality for complex assemblies.

  • AOI Inspection Machine: Equipped with cutting-edge imaging technology to detect potential defects in the soldering process.

Real-Time Testing and Adjustment

To demonstrate the system`s capabilities, the client brought their own PCB boards for testing.  Our team of skilled engineers made professional adjustments to fine-tune the equipment for optimal performance.  The on-site soldering tests provided a live demonstration of the production line`s efficiency and precision.


The soldering process, a critical aspect of the THT production line, was meticulously evaluated.  The results not only met but exceeded the client`s expectations, reflecting the reliability and quality of I.C.T`s equipment.

As part of the production line, the Odd Form Insertion Machine demonstrated its powerful capabilities:


  • High-Speed Operation: Achieves up to 50,000 CPH (components per hour), making it ideal for high-volume production.

  • Flexible Component Handling: Supports insertion at angles from 0 to 360 degrees in 1-degree increments, ensuring compatibility with various component types.

  • Advanced User Interface: Intuitive controls allow for easy operation, diagnostics, and data management.  Off-line programming enhances usability and flexibility.

  • Reduced Manual Assembly: Automates complex tasks, improving throughput, quality, and cost-efficiency.


This machine`s flexibility and efficiency are instrumental in meeting the diverse needs of modern electronics manufacturing, particularly in high-density PCB applications.
