In January 2025, two of I.C.T experienced engineers traveled to Saudi Arabia to provide on-site installation, commissioning, and training services for a customer in the electrical and LED lighting industries.
The customer is a prominent Group specializing in high-voltage transmission, circuit breakers, electrical analyzers, and LED lighting. They had recently purchased a complete LED production line with the goal of optimizing their production capabilities for energy-efficient LED lighting products. Although the customer has engineers, they have no experience in SMT LED production. Therefore, we sent two SMT technical engineers to their factory to assist in setting up an SMT production line and provide step-by-step training for the customer's engineers.
The client operates across several sectors, this line is for LED lights. To meet the client`s specific production needs for LED lights, I.C.T provided a customized solution that included the following equipment:

JUKI RS-1R Pick-and-Place Machine: For accurate component placement with high-speed capabilities.

PCB Handling Machines: To streamline the production process and improve workflow efficiency.

Upon arrival at the customer`s factory, I.C.T engineers immediately began their on-site service tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient setup of the LED production line.

1. SMT Equipment Unpacking:
Due to the long duration of sea transportation, it was crucial to prevent any potential damage to the equipment from exposure to seawater, such as rust or corrosion. To mitigate these risks, we utilized fumigation-free vacuum packaging, ensuring the equipment remained in optimal condition upon arrival.
2. Equipment Placement and Layout Adjustment:
Our engineers carefully evaluated the factory layout and determined the ideal placement for each piece of equipment in the production line.
3. Installation and Debugging:
Once the equipment was positioned, our engineers installed and meticulously debugged each machine on the production line to ensure everything operated smoothly. This involved checking all electrical connections, calibrating settings, and testing the functionality of each system to meet the required standards.
4. Comprehensive Training:
A vital component of our after-sales service is the training provided to the customer’s engineers. I.C.T engineers conducted practical, hands-on training for each piece of equipment, focusing on its specific operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures. The training was designed to ensure the customer`s engineers could efficiently operate the new SMT production line and handle routine maintenance tasks independently.
5. LED lights trial production:

After completing the installation and training, our engineers guided the customer’s team through a trial production run. This step was crucial for testing the performance of the entire production line under real production conditions. During the trial, our engineers monitored the process closely, addressing any technical issues and ensuring that the equipment was operating as expected. The successful completion of trial production provided the customer with the confidence that their SMT production line was fully operational and ready for ongoing use.
Training is a critical aspect of our commitment to customer success. By equipping the client’s engineers with the necessary skills, we ensure that they are fully capable of managing and operating the SMT production line autonomously, resulting in improved operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
Once training and testing are successfully completed, I.C.T issues a training certificate to the customer’s engineers, confirming that they can independently operate and maintain each SMT equipment.
In addition to the initial training, I.C.T engineers are always available to provide remote troubleshooting, online training, and regular inspections to ensure that the customer`s production line runs smoothly.
